PROGRAMS & SERVICES - FAMILY COUNSELING Campuses providing this program:
Family Counseling is a method of addressing the impact
of stress and crisis by focusing on the entire family system, as well as
the individual child. The service is designed to support families who have
a child exhibiting at-risk behaviors or families who are at risk of having
the child(ren) removed from the home. Treatment services are focused on
finding solutions to family problems by utilizing and developing family
strengths and resources, within the context of the family and community.
Components of this service include; individual and family counseling,
parent skills training, community assistance and supervision services.
Services are designed to be delivered either in the office or in the family's
home. Family counseling is also available in conjuction with most other
Quakerdale programs.
