PROGRAMS & SERVICES - COMMUNITY GROUPS

Campuses providing this program:

Quakerdale of New Providence
Quakerdale of Waterloo

Community Groups are designed to prevent and reduce juvenile crime and to assist youth to live in their home and community. Groups include Agression Replacement Training, Shoplifting Diversion, Life Skills Development, and Community Service Learning activities.

Goals:

  • To create graduated sanctions and family support networks that stabilize high-risk youth and increase their potential for successful life management in their community setting.
  • To prevent juvenile delinquincy both in youth who are at risk of out-of-home/community placement and for those youth returning from out-of-home/community placement.

Waterloo offers specialized gender responsive groups for borderline personality, grief and empowerment.

For a referral, call each location for times & availability.

Quakerdale's Vision for the 21st Century:
To promote peacemaking in a violent world
