Riding for Good

Quakerdale to host professional motorcyclist, Tracy Bachman

(New Providence, IA) -- On Saturday, August 27, Quakerdale will be hosting Tracy Bachman at their New Providence Campus – 26866 State Highway S55, New Providence, IA 50206. Described as an off-road race demonstration with a motivational theme, adults and children will be able to come out and learn what off-road racing is all about.  The event will be held from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. and hot dogs, chips and soda will be available at no cost.

“I’ve been involved in motocross for close to 30 years, and have been blessed with opportunities to travel cross-country with my family. I didn’t get involved in off-road racing until seven years ago,’’ Bachman stated. ‘‘I was involved with a church youth group, and we started hosting and promoting demonstration shows. Soon, we started doing these shows all over the country, and wherever we traveled, the feedback we got was tremendous.”

After the off-road race demonstration Bachman will be delivering a Christian-based message. “It is not about shoving religion down anybody’s throat,” said Bachman.  “If people don’t want to talk, that’s fine, the event is not about that. But if anybody is struggling or wants to learn more about God, I am there.  It is all about reaching out to people, and the Lord has given me a unique opportunity to do that.”
