How You Can Sponsor A Child

admin posted on December 05, 2008 07:46

You can now provide for a child’s stay in Quakerdale’s life skills training and Residential Treatment program through the Sponsor A Child initiative.

Your gift provides 24-hour care, food, clothing, transportation, counseling, exposure to Christian teachings and assistance with schoolwork. You can choose to Sponsor A Child for one month, two months, one quarter year, or in greater increments.

To Sponsor A Child, click on 'How You Can Help' button at left, then 'Make A Gift Now,' and then write 'Sponsor A Child' on the Special Project line.

For personalized assistance with this effective and gratifying giving option, contact Donna Lawler, Director of Development, at 641-497-5294 or Rosemary Schwartz, Development Associate, at 319-233-2554.

The Community Foundation of Waterloo/Cedar Falls and Northeast Iowa, Regions Bank of Waterloo, and the Waterloo Wal-Mart have already committed to the Sponsor A Child program. Individuals, businesses, organizations and churches are encouraged to join them!
