A Very Merry Holiday Season

The joy of Christmas is surely in the air at Quakerdale...

On Friday, December 9th Quakerdale welcomed 300 visitors at the Wolfe Ranch Life Enrichment Center for Christmas at the Stable.  Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds and three wisemen gathered together in the barn depicting the nativity. Inside, people were welcomed in for warm chili, live music and fellowship. A special thanks to ALL the volunteers and staff who made this event possible. $1300 was raised during the silent auction. All proceeds will go directly to the Equine Program.

Quakerdale Eagles teamed up with Greenbelt Homecare

On Wednesday, December 7th the Quakerdale Eagles matched up against Waldorf Univ. at home. In addition to playing basketball, Quakerdale partnered with Greenbelt Homecare to get much needed food items for the community. Five boxes of non-perishable food items were collected and delivered to the organization.

The Eagles lost by 2 points, 51-53, but played very hard.

Great job guys and thank you kind fans!
