Mobile Camp is free, 5-day camp that reaches out to families and children in under-served communities to unite them with caring adults in their area. The camp is unique in the sense that it is a traveling day camp and has served children and families in Waterloo, Marshalltown, and Des Moines.
Mobile camp promotes positive relationships, self-esteem and belonging, healthy/safe living, and appreciation of others through a host of fun activities. Children enjoy team building, water fun, peer interaction, and guest appearances by friendly authority figures (peace officers).
